Apply For a Neighborhood 360° Fellowship With Renaissance in the Bronx and Queens
Here’s a great career development opportunity for anyone interested in working in the non-profit sector and helping New York City’s small businesses. This year, Renaissance Economic Development Corporation (REDC) is hosting a Neighborhood 360° fellow. The program, sponsored by the NYC Department of Small Business Services, deploys paid, full-time community development professionals to work on commercial revitalization projects.
During the 10 month project, our fellow will survey business owners across two commercial districts: Southern Boulevard in Mott Haven, Bronx, and Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens. This information will be used to determine how Renaissance can strengthen, adapt, and implement its portfolio of business services to address the greatest needs of the business owners in these areas.
The application deadline is March 4, 2018. Click here for more information.
Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an information session where staff will provide a comprehensive overview of the program and walk prospective applicants through the application process. Please be advised that the Prospective Fellow Meet & Greet on March 1 will be held at the offices of the NYC Department of Small Business Services, 110 William St. in Lower Manhattan.
